Alter Ego Takes the Stage, NewPom and Rex Insane Claim Championship Titles

The CBN Championship Series Season 6 (CCSS6) once again brought excitement to two major cities: Pamulang and Bekasi. This tournament, a collaboration between CBN Fiber and Indomaret, not only served as a proving ground for local esports teams but also as a platform for interaction between the gaming community and professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) players from Alter Ego.

Pamulang: Rex Insane Dominates, Suka Mie Ayam Named MVP

The match at Indomaret Fresh Pamulang, South Tangerang, was lively with high enthusiasm from participants and spectators. After a fierce final round, Rex Insane emerged as the champion, followed by Unpam Kyron in second place and Unpam X Champs in third.

Suka Mie Ayam's outstanding performance earned him the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP) thanks to his dominant contribution in every match.

The atmosphere was further enlivened by the presence of two professional Alter Ego players competing in the MPL, Arfy and Yazukee, who shared their stories and experiences in the national competitive scene.

Arfy highlighted the importance of discipline in professional team play. “Actually, it's our own performance. We lack discipline and are too hasty,” said Arfy.

Meanwhile, Yazukee added that mental attitude and consistency in training are also important factors for team performance. "I think what needs to be improved is our habits. Respecting ourselves and being consistent in training, actually. Because, I don't know, yesterday we were really chaotic. Maybe there are certain factors that can't be mentioned. So, for the next match, we'll probably be more careful. Just be more patient," said Yazukee.

Bekasi: NewPom Wins, KRIEG Shines

On the same day, the CCSS6 Bekasi Grand Final was held at Indomaret Fresh Ifolia, Bekasi Regency. This tournament featured fierce competition between the best teams in the East Jabodetabek region, and in the end, NewPom won first place, defeating TLAC as runner-up, while EVOS Caktim had to settle for third place.

KRIEG, a player from the NewPom team, was named MVP thanks to his brilliant performance that led his team to victory.

The event in Bekasi was also enlivened by two stars from Alter Ego, Cyruz and Rinee, who were a magnet for fans. They were not only there for a meet & greet, but also to share their views on the dynamics of the competition and their experiences in MPL Indonesia.

Cyruz briefly mentioned the team's evaluation following their defeat in the MPL. “Yes, learning from yesterday's loss. And to improve further from the previous day,” he said.

Alter Ego's presence in the two cities not only added to the event's appeal but also inspired young players to continue training and developing in the esports world.
