The Pilkada Serentak Process
The Pilkada Serentak process is long and involves many parties. It starts from candidate registration, campaigns, and ultimately voting at the polling station. In general, here are the key stages:

Candidate Registration: Political parties or independent candidates submit their regional leader candidates. These candidates must meet the requirements set by the authorities.

27th November: National Holiday?
The Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, announced that the government has declared November 27th, 2024, as a national holiday. This decision was made because on that day, all eligible voters in Indonesia will exercise their right to choose their regional leaders. By making November 27th a national holiday, the government hopes that all citizens can fully participate in this democratic process.
